folk singer Komal Oli has joined the newly formed Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).Oli also announced her new business venture, a mineral water company, named after herself, Komal Jal. Referring to her product, she talked to the audience about how every person should try to be independent and since it is a business centred festival, she encouraged everyone, especially women, to initiate business on their own. Oli, who is also originally from Dang, expressed her attachment to the roots and shared some words of encouragement to women to pursue career of their choice.
The festival has so far seen performances by artists such as Badri Pangeni, Pasupati Sharma, Ramji Khand, Jiwan Sharma, Pramod Kharel, Devi Gharti, Hemanta Sharma, Prajapati Parajuli, Chandra Sharma, Manju Paudel, and Sudha Ratna, among others. Moreover, actress Jharana Thapa, director Saugat Bista, child artist Anubhav KC, and actor Jitu Nepal also entertained the audience in different shows.Singer Oli announced her entry into the RPP amid its unificaiton program yesterday.
