NC youth leader Ram Hari Khatiwada was born on January 8, 1970 in Thakle-2 of Okhaldhunga. He is the son of Jib Nath and Yashoda Khatiwada. He holds Master’s Degree in Political Sciences and Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
Entered Kathmandu after completing SLC, Khatiwada joined politics in 1985. He adorned NC leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, who inspired him to join politics , as a role model. He reached NC central office, following Bhattarai, who gave him monthly Rs. 200 to continue his education along with party’s activities. Chosen as a member of Okhaldhunga Working Committee in 1988, he is serving as a Mahasamiti member from past 12 years
