In a speech announcing new executive actions on gun control this
morning, President Obama became emotional when talking about the "sense
of urgency" Americans need to feel after so many mass shootings.
Obama spoke to a room full of mass shooting victims and their families.
Comedian Amy Schumer was also in attendance; after a mass shooter
targeted a screening of Trainwreck, she has advocated for gun control
alongside her cousin, Sen. Chuck Schumer.
