CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that he was ‘insulted’ during an all-party meeting held at Seetal Niwas, Maharajgunj yesterday. During the meeting, which was summoned by President Bidya Devi Bhandari to seek a solution to the current political stalemate, top leaders of the political parties represented in Parliament had expressed their views.
Speaking at the meeting, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba clarified that the government has taken the same proposal forward that had been signed by then NC President Sushil Koirala and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
When Deuba noticed Oli whisper in UML Vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam’s ears, the former sounded, “Hello Mister” in a bid to draw Oli’s attention.Oli said that he was intentionally demoralized by Deuba using the insulting phrase and accused him of “behaving like an army commander in front of his subordinates.”
