Black soot smeared on suspended CIAA chief Karki’s face

Two persons smeared black soot on the face of suspended Chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki, at the Supreme Court premises in Kathmandu on Thursday.
The duo followed Karki from behind while he was on his way to attend the hearings on the case against him, and daubed the black soot on Karki’s face.Karki, who was named under-secretary at the then royal residence secretariat in 1984 through illustrious proclamation, joined common administration in 1990 after the restoration of vote based system. On the off chance that Karki’s prior six years of administration at the then royal residence secretariat is barred, he doesn’t meet the required criteria for holding the position.
Police arrested the duo when they tried to run away chanting ‘CPN Maoist Jindabad [Up with the CPN Maoist]’
