Bhandari Memorial College here in the Capital today, Oli added that the late leader Bhandari had versatile, scientific and broader thoughts on the social justice regarding the national development and patriotism.Oli said that the government was working out to bring a new education policy because of the weakness in current policy and system.
He asserted that an appropriate environment should be provided to the new generation which would flourish their interest and capacity.
On the occasionOli honoured Professor P Kharel with the Madan Bhandari Education Journalism Award. The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and a letter of honour.
Sudan Lamichhane and Rama Parajuli were also honoured with gold medals for securing the highest marks in Higher Secondary Education Board
