Bathinda Dancer’s Murder: Owner Of Gun Used By Accused Arrested

A day after 22 year old Kulwinder Kaur was shot dead at a marriage by the groom’s brother because he was not allowed to dance with her, the Bathinda police have nabbed the prime accused and the others named in her murder case.

Lucky Goel alias Billa, who shot dead the dancer, and Sanjay Goyal – whose weapon was used in the incident, have been arrested. The police have also arrested the owner of the marriage palace, Jagseer Singh, for allowing use of weapons at the venue and a case has been registered against the groom’s parents as well.

On Saturday night, Kulwinder Kaur was shot dead while she was performing on stage by an allegedly inebriated Billa after he was not allowed to dance with her troupe during the marriage function of a local commission agent’s son.

After he was snubbed, Billa opened fire, hitting Kulwinder in her head. Kulwinder died on the spot.Her family has claimed that Kulwinder was 2-months pregnant on the day she was shot.
