Fire in Gharedhunga, Ilampokhari-7 in the district has completely destroyed a house on Monday.
The house belonged to Srikauri Gurung. Gurung was living in the house after reconstructing the damages caused by last year’s earthquake.
According to locals, the inferno occurred due to short circuit. The fire has been contained with the combined effort of Red Cross, mothers association, local youth club, and local people.
According to Nepal Red Cross Society-Gharedhunga Secretary KB Gurung, a two-tola gold chain and ring, Rs80,000 completely destroyed by the fire among other household materials.
