Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management Ramesh Lekhak made a surprise visit to the Transport Management Office in Ekantakuta on Tuesday.The visit was reportedly made in wake of the increasing public complaints of the service recipients having to suffer while filling forms for driving license.The Minister was accompanied by Director General of the Department of Transport Management Chandra Man Shrestha.On the occasion, the people in the queue complained to the Minister that they had been forced to be there from the earlier night.Considering the situation, Minister Lekhak directed the Director General of DoTM to expand service centres for issuing driver’s license, according to his Advisor Iswari Prasad Joshi.It may be noted that the Minister had already allow expanding the service to three locations in the valley—Sallaghari, Kalanki and Chabahil.
