Due to the amazing progress Nepal has made in the automobile industry by importing ever more cars even though there is no space left to drive them on, it is now possible to jet from Bhairawa to Kathmandu in 20 minutes and then spend the rest of the day getting into town from the airport. A traffic jam is a sure sign that a country’s macro-economic engine is in full swing and advancing at an astounding eight centimetres per hour on the Tukucha Bridge.The winter solstice is approaching and the days are getting shorter, which leaves us less time to get from Point A to Point B, and this means we must always have a Plan B. Forget amendments to the constitution, what we really need are amendments to traffic rules to shorten times for commutes. Nepal Idol ready to rock the Nation

First time ever in Nepal, the international singing competition is soon to set views on AP1 television. The international franchise ‘Idol’ is the most viewed show all over the world. The show first started in England; In 2009 British producer Simon Fuller started the television reality show, which is very popular in various countries.The show is televised in various countries by adjoining the country name to Idol, but in England, the singing competition is popular with the name ‘Pop Idol’. The show became worldwide famous when the American Fox channel in 2002 started broadcasting the show as ‘American idol’. The ‘Idol’ franchise now is associated in various other countries like America, Australia, Arab, Indonesia, New Zealand, Latin America, Poland, South Africa, Pakistan India and Iceland.Nepal has also associated it relation with the popular franchise ‘idol’. Govt vehicle set on fire in New Baneshwar

An unidentified gang set a fire to a government vehicle at New Baneshwar in the Capital on Friday afternoon.According to an eyewitness, the gang set the Scorpio, Ba 2 Jha 1392, vehicle on fire saying that the vehicle was used on the government holiday.Likewise, the gang also vandalized another government vehicle with the registration no. Ba 2 Jha 1055.It has yet to be confirmed which government office the vehicle belongs, said Baneshwar Police.Police are investigating the case and trying to establish the identity of the culprits. Paras Bir Bikram Shah Dev (born 30 December 1971) was Crown Prince of Nepal, the heir apparent to the throne, from 2001 until the abolition of the monarchy by the Interim Constituent Assembly in 2008 following Constituent Assembly elections.Paras is the only son of the deposed King Gyanendra and Queen Komal of Nepal. He has one sister, Prerana. He received his early education at St. Joseph’s College in Darjeeling, India; Sidhart Banasthali Buddhanilkantha School, Kathmandu; and Laboratory School, Kathmandu. He later attended Luther College in Iowa,and the Schiller International University in the United Kingdom studying for an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.
